Projects and Events

A collection of various projects, fashion shows, and other events I’ve had the pleasure of working on.

RVAFW 2023

I had the pleasure of being invited to assist in coordinating the Back-of-House for the Richmond Fashion Week Fashion Shows. RVAFW consists of a week full of events however they have 3 fashion shows with local designers and brands which I attended and coordinated the models for each.

NYFW F/W 23

This past February, I was invited to assist the multiple brands shown below backstage during the exciting time of showing their final collection to the public. I met a lot of interesting people, went to a lot of new plcaes, and most importantly walked away with learning experiences on how conduct a proper fashion show.

  • For Black Artists, By Black Artists

I am the Vice President of the Creative Production Collective, or CPC, at Virginia Commonwealth University. Our organization was founded in 2020 by POC students who felt that their voices and their work were not being credited or shared. To celebrate Black History Month in 2023, We collaborated with fellow Black-Student-based orgs, BASEVCU and BLKinFashion, to hold a month-long gallery to showcase Black art.

As well as the gallery being open to the public for the entire month of February, we had multiple engaging events such as an opening ceremony and Speakeasy nights to create community among the Black artists in the area. My favorite part about this project was that most of the people involved are not art students, just students who also do art as well as their major like Bio and Social Sciences. It proves that one can be multifaceted and we welcome that.
